Hello, my name is Jarvis Stwyer and i am an enrolled member of the Confederated tribes of Warm Springs and I currently reside at Warm Springs, Oregon. My parents are the late Veronica Wallulatum and late Herbert Stwyer Jr. I have been apart of the pow wow circle since young age and traveled throughout part of the US and Canada.
I am thankful to be called upon to serve as headman dancer for this celebration and wish only the best to the committee, drummers, dancers, all types of vendors during pow wow weekend.
I am currently employed with Oregon Department of Transportation plowing snow in the winters and different types of road work in the spring to the fall time. But in my off time I enjoy my time with my family whether it be pow wows, sports activities, or traveling for different events and leisure.
Once again thanks to the committee for the opportunity and safe travels to everyone that may be coming to the pow wow or wherever their travels may take them.
